Walmart announced this week it’s rolling out two new services for shoppers and a new perk for associates.

All full- and part-time Walmart U.S. associates working in stores, distribution centers and fulfillment centers are getting a free Walmart+ membership. Walmart said the new associate benefit is not only a “way to say thank you” to its nearly 1.6 million U.S. workers, but it’s also so associates can use the membership and "tell us how it’s going and ultimately speak to customers about it from personal experience.”

The membership provides free shipping with no order minimum, among other perks. Walmart is also giving new and existing Walmart+ members six months of streaming through Spotify Premium for free as part of a promotion.Walmart+ members who haven’t previously tried Spotify Premium can get ad-free streaming of millions of songs and podcasts, unlimited skips, the ability to play any song anywhere, and the ability to download music for listening offline and on-the-go.

The retailer has also announced the launch of two new, exclusive offerings through its online Wellness Hub: BetterUp for Caregivers and Easy Vitamin Plan subscriptions.

BetterUp for Caregivers, a new and exclusive offering from Walmart and BetterUp, provides caregivers access to live group coaching circles led by a professional BetterUp coach, and includes customized tools and a community for support as they navigate daily challenges. BetterUp is a human transformation company that helps people grow personally and professionally through coaching. Members of the coaching subscription will experience live group programming, community support and a wide array of on-demand solutions, including drop-in workshops, Coaching Circles™, tailored self-guided programs, and personalized assessments — all created to improve resilience, energy, and social connection.

“Caregivers suffer some of the highest levels of stress and isolation in our country,” said Eduardo Medina, co-founder and COO of BetterUp. “It’s critical to provide effective support for such an important community, and we’re proud to harness BetterUp’s expertise in human transformation to support them in finding social connection, building their mental fitness and increasing their resilience and through science-backed digital and human-centered solutions. This is the first time that a solution of this magnitude has been attempted, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to team up with Walmart to provide a transformational experience for this community at scale.”

Easy Vitamin Plan has teamed up with Walmart to offer its personalized vitamin subscription plan to Walmart customers. Easy Vitamin Plan offers subscribers a 28-day supply of vitamins that meets their specific needs.

“We are pleased to work with Walmart to provide our personalized services at affordable prices to their millions of loyal customers,” said Phil Vigeant, founder of Easy Vitamin Plan. “These custom formulas are often too expensive for most individuals. Now, with the help of Walmart, anyone can upgrade from a basic multivitamin to a custom vitamin plan at an everyday low price.”

In addition to these two new offerings, customers also have access to over 50 laboratory-quality tests including COVID-19, digestive health, allergy, heart health and more with options for professional support and guidance from QuestDirect, accessible through Walmart’s Wellness Hub.

“Working with leading providers to bring our customers services focused on personal coaching, personalized nutrition, and at-home testing is one more way Walmart is making wellness more accessible and affordable, in turn helping empower customers to achieve their goals this year and beyond,” Julie Barber, SVP of health and wellness merchandising, Walmart U.S., said in a press release. “With the launch of these services, we are building on the commitments and investments we’ve made over the past several years, and we will continue expanding our offerings to best serve our customers’ health and wellness needs.”
